It's the time of the year again! The feeling of gift giving is in the air and we start looking for gifts that we can give to our loved ones. Sometimes, we even do fun stuff like exchanging gifts -- this would be easier since the participants can list their wishlist. Here are the things that I keep in mind when selecting presents:

1. I don't believe in wishlists: I would personally go with my gut when buying gifts. Something that the person who'll receive it won't expect to receive it. In that way, you still keep the sense of "surprise" in opening the gifts.

2. Personal touch: Give something that you are connected together or would make you connect with them.

3. Need: If you're not that close with the recipient, you can just simply choose the things that they need or related to their hobbies. Do some research, it will be fun!

4. Last resort -- look for great deals on the market. Something that they don't own or something that they would need and would be great for their everyday use.
